2 per language or 3 for Japanese. Please specify here. How many delegates will require language receivers? (just type in the quantity)* Is interpretation one way or two way? *
‘One Way’ means interpretation provided to one language group only. For example, when delegates speak Language-Two and they are being addressed in Language-One and you have 500 delegates of which 300 only speak Language-One and 200 who only speak Language-Two and you want Language-Two delegates to just listen in their own language and not ask questions. That is what we call ‘One-Way’. Less expensive but it does not allow full participation.
‘Two Way’ means free discussion in both languages so everyone, via their own language receivers, understands whichever language is being spoken. Generally one per foreign language being spoken e.g. if languages being spoken are English, Japanese and Mandarin then you will require two booths, Japanese <-> English and Mandarin <-> English.
Japanese interpreters generally require a 3 person booth.
Floor print of booths is about 1.6 x 1.6 metres and should be located where they can view the speakers directly. Usually located at the rear of the room will full view of the speakers. Specify which type of booth you require? *
For professional conferences customers should always have free standing floor mounted booths with approved ventilation, desk lights and a power supply for the interpreters laptop computers. Sometimes when a meeting is in a small room desk-top portable booths can only be used.
